Are you passionate about progressive politics? Want to rant about how stupid the tea party is? Have a secret crush on Rachel Maddow? This is a friendly, casual group to chat about politics over a few beers after work.
We aim to be a support group for progressives, democrats, liberals and their allies who advocate for peaceful change. Are you a protester? An organizer? A firebrand? So, how do you like them apples?! Just kidding. I don't want to pick fights or get nasty, I just want to have some great conversations about …

The Supreme Court decision in the case of "Citizens United vs the FEC" allows corporations to give unlimited amounts of money to support political candidates of their choosing. While you or I might struggle to contribute $20, they can contribute 20 MILLION dollars with no problem! Is this government of the people, by the people and for the people?? This group is primarily for residents of the Mt. Vernon dist …
